History

Founding of Aquinas American School in the campus of Transversal Cuatro, 4, in Pozuelo de Alarcón. A former Spanish school, with 106 students, is purchased and transformed into an American international school.

Aquinas counts with 525 students. A new building is purchased, which is now the current High School campus at Calle Poniente, also in Pozuelo de Alarcón, just 500 meters from the previous existing campus.

The Aquinas American School student residence is inaugurated. The first year it counts with 39 full boarding residents, all of whom are AAS High School students. The residence building is in Montepríncipe, very close to AAS, and has capacity for 90 students.

First year of the new school developed by the Aquinas team in Estepona, Malaga. Atlas – American School of Malaga, is an American school, developed from the concession of a municipal land from the Estepona City Council, and has capacity for 800 students.

Mathema Educación brand is created, to name the group that now manages the 3 schools and the student residence.
